There's an easier way, provided you've got Internet access. Elden Ring Runes features something called groups, which allows you to create a password that will ensure that you only view the remnants of those who belong to your exclusive club. Participating in one can provide numerous benefits including reducing the volume of messages from trolls which could leave you uninformed about the most important aspects of the game or result in death. Depending on your tolerance and desire to suffer, better messages could or might not enhance the game. Interestingly it is believed by some players that the communal hazing a key part of the game. While I've never liked climbing off a cliff the search of something that doesn't exist, it feels strange to consider what the game would be like without ever doing that.
What I didn't know yet, is that being a part of a group provides you with rewards whenever someone in your group accomplishes something significant, like becoming an Elden Lord or defeating a Shardbearer. Everyone benefits! When this happens the game will show a message and your character begins emitting a golden glow, like it would be if you'd wolfed down a bird's leg. You can tell it's active by looking in the left side of the top corner If you notice a small yellow claw, then you've been granted the buff. You didn't even have to do a damn thing to get the buff. Nice.
Now you might be asking, "Wait a minute, what am I basing my trust on, or even optimizing for something that is likely to (or maybe won't) occur in a completely random manner? Isn't getting to be cheap Elden Ring Items or even removing the boss's office a little rare?" You, my dear friend, are playing a numbers game. Luckily, Elden Ring lets you join as many as five groups so long as you've got the right password. There are plenty of them available for you to gain from.
